travel vignettes and fishies and flowers

are ready for their close-up

and some images may even intersect art with philosophy

A Timeless poem

park bench

Two men are sitting quietly

The sun is warm to only one of them

The one that is not wearing the worn knit cap low over soft eyes

The one that is not a breath away from nothing

Everything is felt

An exacting effort to hold back the tears

He cannot look

Cannot let him see his distress

Even still, uncontrolled, the sob

On a sigh, the words

It’s a sojourn, dad; simply a sojourn
