Why do women love bracelets that jangle and clank and dangle audaciously?
Don’t know . don’t care . just do

so here is a little poem that anchored my personality early
across The great divide
Once
Teeth clenched in exasperated resignation
She threatened to drive right through the garage door
My mom
Sister and I had been sniping at each other
All the way home from somewhere
And it was all sister’s fault
Really
She had boundary issues
My sister
Tempting me beyond control
To send wiggling fingers
To “her side” of the car
Kid sister
Big sister
And mom
Pretty much unanimous
I was a pain in the ass
Although
A highly justified one
