A snarky slightly mean poem

a disclaimer is possibly, probably, actually  needed – reader’s discretion advised

three times, aka, the ex’s

To my daughter’s father, I say this

I married you when we were teenagers

When I still had faith in your goodness

Until you stripped away all that was dear to me

And when everything failed for you

You said it was my fault

Because I had not believed in you enough

Even my daughter laughs at me for marrying you twice

To my son’s father, I say this

You were the love of my life but you left

And everyone took your side because

They thought you were perfect and

I could not tell them the truth

Because you were the father of my child

And to the other one, I say this

You are the unholy jackass

You would dance in circles on your two front hooves

And kick back, braying the whole time

Until the entire family had fled and

There were gaping holes in the walls

And no furniture was left unbattered
